Survival Kit 17: Opening Programme

Survival Kit 17 opens at Riga Congress Hall with a programme connecting performance, sound, movement and participatory food practice.
Naima Nefertari’s solo piano and sound work enters into dialogue with Zora Snake’s movement performance A Rite for Elsa. Maya Minder’s participatory work Epigenetics, DNA, Environment. There is Hope! uses fermentation and a shared meal to explore relationships between humans and microorganisms.
The main Survival Kit 17 exhibition, Arrow of the Wind: On Artists and Healers, continues at Riga Congress Hall from August 28 to September 27.
The programme continues later that evening with the ticketed Healing Nightclub at Kaņepes Kultūras centrs.
