Balfolk Jam Session – Aleponija

A Sunday music jam in the Balfolk style – open to musicians and non-musicians alike.
Balfolk is social dance music rooted in Western European folk traditions, open to a wide range of styles. The focus is on mutual respect, creativity, and community. Dances include pairs, groups, chains, and solo.
The session will focus on the most popular dance rhythms – taught on the spot – with plenty of room for free flow and improvisation. Bring your own instrument or pick one up at the venue: percussion, rattles, strings, and more available on site. No prior musical experience needed. Come to play or simply to enjoy.
