Aldaru Street Festival 2026

Aldaru Street Festival takes over one of Old Riga’s most atmospheric streets on September 19 with a free programme of live music, food, a local market and activities running through the day. The main stage by the Swedish Gate will host a changing line-up of local performers, while nearby courtyards and side streets become part of the festival area.

Alongside the concerts, visitors can browse stalls from local producers and craftspeople, take part in activities and competitions, and stop at outdoor bars operated by businesses from the neighbourhood. A separate Silent Disco turns one of the side streets into an open-air dance floor, adding a late-day party element to the street programme.

The festival is part of the wider Vecrīga Festival day in Old Riga, but Aldaru Street has its own programme and atmosphere. Admission is free.
