Žubr – Avant-Garde Jazz Quartet

M/House of Jazz presents a concert by the international avant-garde jazz quartet “žubr” — a project bringing together four musicians of improvised and experimental music from Latvia and Poland.

The ensemble combines vocals, piano, double bass, and percussion, performing an original repertoire written specifically for this lineup. Composition meets improvisation through extended instrumental techniques. The project originated in Oslo, where the musicians developed their shared musical approach.
