“To Dust: A Memorial for Robot Vacuum Cleaners” – Rosie Gibbens (UK) 3 Showings

A performance by British artist Rosie Gibbens imagining a near future where broken robot vacuum cleaners are mourned through elaborate funeral ceremonies. Combining absurdity, dark humour, and ritualistic staging, the work explores emotional attachment to domestic technology, surveillance, and data collection in the home. Audio imagined as recordings collected by a robot over its lifetime forms the memorial soundtrack. Created in collaboration with dancers Lelde Beate and Sintija Skrabe.
Three showings: 17:00, 18:00, and 19:00. Free entry, advance registration required.
