Emily D’Angelo: Pleasantly Haunted – World Premiere
One of the world’s leading young mezzo-sopranos, Canadian singer Emily D’Angelo, comes to Riga for the world premiere of her new programme, Pleasantly Haunted. Created especially for this project, the performance brings together medieval melodies, folk traditions, contemporary songwriting and new arrangements performed by an international chamber ensemble.
Presented at Hanzas Perons, the concert offers a rare opportunity to experience a brand-new production before it appears on international stages. The programme features outstanding Latvian and international musicians, highlighting Emily D’Angelo’s passion for chamber music and innovative collaborations beyond the traditional opera repertoire.
