Dreams of Various Length: Manifestations of Surrealism in Latvian Printmaking in the 1970s–80s

An exhibition exploring how eight Latvian graphic artists interpreted Surrealism during Soviet occupation — a time when Surrealism, alongside Abstractionism, was deemed ideologically undesirable. Part of the ongoing Generation cycle at the Latvian National Museum of Art, this is the first group exhibition in the series, focusing on printmaking as a medium.
