Critical Mass Riga 2026

The annual May Day Critical Mass ride – a celebration of spring, cycling, and the call for safer bike infrastructure in Riga for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest.

All riders of light, zero-emission vehicles are welcome – cyclists, rollerbladers, skateboarders, and (e-)scooter riders. Decorate your bike, bring a speaker, make signs, film, photograph – everyone is an organiser.

Before the ride: install the Critical Maps app on your phone and keep it running throughout – this makes the ride visible on the map and helps latecomers join.
