Abstract kokle strings representing the Are We (Al)one? performance in Riga, 13–14 November 2026

Are We (Al)one? (Vai vieni?) opens its Riga run at Dirty Deal Teatro on Friday, November 13. The wordless production brings live kokle music, movement and theatre together in a study of family ties, inherited traditions and personal choice.

Musicians Kristīne Tukre and Dzintars Lipors perform within choreography by director Lilija Lipora. With no spoken dialogue, the work is accessible to international audiences without knowledge of Latvian.
