Resonance Residence: Adomas Palekas and Sofija Zaiceva

Two sound performances present work developed during Baltic Analog Lab and Skaņu mežs residencies. Lithuanian sound and bio artist Adomas Palekas works with microbial metabolism, chemical reactions, magnetic tape and celluloid film as compositional material.

Latvian artist Sofija Zaiceva combines live coding and electroacoustic composition. Her performance uses custom SuperCollider processing chains installed on discarded devices, including old iPhones, as part of her research into data hijacking and digital archaeology.

The event is part of the Resonance (pre-Process) Residence series and will be held in English in Baltic Analog Lab’s second-floor residence rooms.
