Skaņu Mežs at White Night 2026

Skaņu Mežs presents Morton Feldman’s six-hour String Quartet No. 2 for the composer’s centenary. Maya Bennardo, Victor Guaita, Veronika Paleeva and Nathan Watts will perform while textile artist Leïla Pilé translates the structure of the composition into weaving on stage.
The programme also brings together British saxophonist Alan Wilkinson and American saxophonist Chris Pitsiokos for a free-improvisation performance. Visitors may enter and leave during the evening.
This event is part of White Night 2026 in Riga.
