AUGam Summer Festival: Plant-Based Food and Mushrooms

AUGam Summer Festival brings together plant-based food vendors for a full day at Radošā rūpnīca Veldze. Mushrooms are the festival’s special theme for 2026, with food ranging from hearty main dishes and ice cream to mushroom cacao and speciality drinks.

The programme also includes a quiz, a lecture by experts from the Latvian Mycological Society, mushroom consultations, a workshop on making paper from polypores, activities for children and music created using a mushroom. Dogs are welcome at the event.

For international residents, it is an easy opportunity to explore Latvia’s growing plant-based food scene in one place. The festival is suitable both for vegans and for anyone simply interested in new food, mushrooms or sustainable cooking.
