Kreisā krasta svētki: Music, Sport and Community in Uzvaras Park

Kreisā krasta svētki opens Riga’s 825th anniversary month with a full day of music, performances, sport and community activities in Uzvaras Park. The programme brings together local neighbourhood organisations, young Latvian musicians, creative workshops, science shows, street culture and food from the Latvian round of the European Street Food Awards.
Visitors can explore the festival using a special “Riga Passport”, join activities organised by local communities, watch contemporary performances or try BMX, skateboarding, rollerblading and scooter workshops with equipment provided. For international residents, the event offers an easy way to discover the city beyond its tourist centre and see how Riga’s local cultural and community life comes together in a shared public space.
The evening programme features Aija Andrejeva with her band at 19:30, followed at 21:30 by a joint concert from Latvian hip-hop artist GUSTAVO and Orchestra RIGA. The festival area is wheelchair accessible, and sign-language interpretation will be provided during the evening concerts.
