DESCRIPTION:A traditional Latvian summer dance party takes over Kimmel Quarter for one evening\, with live music\, DJs and even a working sauna. The free programme brings together Latvian pop singer Lauris Reiniks\, the band Labvēlīgais Tips and several DJ sets across the venue. \nFor anyone unfamiliar with the tradition\, a zaļumballe is an open-air summer party where people gather to listen\, dance and spend the evening together. This Kimmel Quarter version gives the tradition an urban setting\, with performances continuing into late-night afterparties. \nOne of the more unusual parts of the evening is the sauna programme. Visitors can register for a free lottery at the Koskenkorva tent from 19:00 to 20:00.
